Three similar names, three destination choices
A message saying only “Dreams” or “La Romana hotel” leaves the road destination unresolved. The words La Romana can appear in a property name, a wider holiday destination and an airport name. They do not identify a particular hotel reception.
Dreams La Romana Resort & Spa and Dreams Dominicus La Romana are distinct hotels. Secrets La Romana Resort & Spa is another distinct reservation choice. Use the complete name rather than shortening it to the brand when you ask for a vehicle.
This comparison is about identifying the hotel for transportation. It does not compare room categories, meals, facilities or holiday value, and a car booking does not establish entitlement to stay at or visit another property.
| Property on your confirmation | LRM VIP transfer directory match |
|---|---|
| Dreams La Romana Resort & Spa | Dreams La Romana destination in the Bayahibe zone. |
| Dreams Dominicus La Romana | Dreams Dominicus destination in the Dominicus zone. |
| Secrets La Romana Resort & Spa | Secrets La Romana destination in the Bayahibe zone. |
| Older Hilton La Romana wording | Check the current hotel confirmation before selecting a destination. |
Match the confirmation to the correct hotel page
For Dreams La Romana Resort & Spa, start with the Dreams La Romana airport transfer page. Compare the hotel name and address with the accommodation confirmation you will use for the stay. Do not substitute Dreams Dominicus simply because the same brand appears first in a search result.
For Dreams Dominicus La Romana, use the Dreams Dominicus airport transfer page. Keep Dominicus in the request and in the accepted vehicle confirmation. A broad address using Bayahibe or La Romana wording is not a reason to change the property’s existing LRM VIP tariff zone.
For Secrets La Romana Resort & Spa, use the Secrets La Romana airport transfer page. A reservation at Secrets should not be described to dispatch as a Dreams booking, even when a travel document mentions another nearby property.
Check older Hilton La Romana references against the current booking
Travel documents, saved maps and previous holiday messages may still use Hilton La Romana. Current travel listings identify Dreams La Romana as formerly the Hilton La Romana all-inclusive resort, and Secrets La Romana as formerly the Hilton La Romana adults-only resort. Treat those names as clues to verify, not as a substitute for the current accommodation confirmation.
If the document still says Hilton, ask the accommodation provider or booking agent to confirm the current full property name and arrival address. Include whether the reservation identifies the family resort or the adults-only resort, but let the provider resolve any mismatch rather than guessing from a remembered description.
Keep the current property name on the road reservation and add the older wording only as a reference when needed. Do not use an old stay’s room number, entrance or contact as proof that the same arrangements apply now.
Hilton Garden Inn La Romana is a different property name. Do not choose it to resolve an unclear Hilton La Romana reference. The full accommodation name and address should agree before the vehicle destination is accepted.
Understand the fare zone without changing the hotel identity
LRM VIP groups existing hotel destinations into road-tariff zones. The Bayahibe transfer zone and Dominicus transfer zone are separate selections. A resort marketing address can use broader geographic wording than the transport directory, so use the matched property rather than trying to infer a tariff from one word in its address.
Review the current VIP fare on the correct hotel page for the passenger group you are booking. Supply suitcases, cabin bags, child-seat needs and bulky equipment before accepting the vehicle. A fare category alone does not confirm that an unusual luggage load fits.
If you selected the wrong hotel, ask the team to correct and accept the itinerary before travelling. A payment or earlier quote for another destination does not automatically confirm the new property, vehicle plan or total. Keep the revised destination and fare in writing.
Give the airport team one unambiguous destination
Send LRM, the airline and flight number, the local arrival date and the full hotel name together. The airport code matters as well as the hotel: a reservation for La Romana airport should not silently become a pickup at Punta Cana or Las Américas.
Use the LRM VIP airport pickup instructions after formalities and baggage collection. Have the accepted hotel destination available on your phone so the travelling passenger can check it even when someone else arranged the booking.
A map pin can help clarify an address, but confirm that it marks the intended property rather than a general beach, restaurant or another hotel carrying a similar name. If the accommodation provides a particular arrival entrance, pass the instruction to dispatch and ask for confirmation.
Avoid sending complete passport images or payment details simply to explain a hotel name. The useful destination information is the current full property name, address, relevant entrance instruction and a reachable guest contact.
Use the actual hotel for the return collection
For the journey back to the airport, confirm the property, collection date, airport and flight, plus the agreed reception or road-accessible meeting point. A correct arrival destination is helpful, but it does not establish every later collection detail.
If you change resorts during the holiday, update the transport team before departure day. The original arrival hotel is no longer the right collection point merely because it appears on an earlier confirmation.
A visit to another property or an activity away from the hotel can also change where the passenger expects to meet. Ask the team to accept any revised road route and fare. Do not expect the driver to locate you by switching between similar hotel names.
Resolve a mismatch before the vehicle is dispatched
Suppose your hotel confirmation says Dreams La Romana Resort & Spa but the vehicle confirmation says Dreams Dominicus. Contact the transport team with both names and the accommodation address. Ask it to confirm the corrected destination, fare and any effect on the vehicle arrangement.
If the accommodation paperwork itself disagrees, contact the hotel or booking agent first. Dispatch can clarify the road reservation, but it cannot determine which room booking an agent intended to sell or change the accommodation contract.
Once the discrepancy is resolved, send the final instructions to every travelling passenger who needs them. A correction made only in the organiser’s notes will not help a guest using an older message at the airport.
Send a clear hotel-identification brief
Use this checklist when a property name is unclear or someone else has booked the stay. Ask the transport team to accept the destination before relying on the vehicle request.
- Full current property name from the accommodation confirmation.
- Property address and any confirmed arrival entrance instruction.
- Older hotel name appearing on the documents, if relevant.
- Airport, airline, flight number and local arrival date.
- Passenger total, reachable travelling contact and complete luggage load.
- Child-seat, mobility or unusual equipment requirements.
- Return airport and actual hotel collection details, if already known.
Send the confirmed property and flight details through the LRM VIP booking form. If the name is uncertain, explain the discrepancy and request clarification rather than selecting an approximate match just to finish the form.
Before flying, check that the accommodation confirmation and accepted road itinerary identify the intended hotel. A precise destination helps the team confirm the correct fare and gives the passenger a clear arrival plan.
